Hi guys! Welcome to my blog!
I’m so excited to share with you our Lounge area makeover! We have been working on this project for a long time but the reason we couldn’t finish on time was because Covid19 messed up the timing of our delivery schedule! The original Owner of our home used this area as a Game Room. (see below) We wanted to turn this area into a space that was good for our kids to have friends over in the future. Both of our girls Riley & Hailey and our son Ryan, are really looking forward to congregating in this spot!

As you guys know, I always pick wall colors first! In this case we used Halation Gray by Glidden. The room looks so much cleaner, younger and fresher and allows me to choose brighter decor. The floor is Vinyl Plank natural oak gray from Home Depot and is waterproof so the kids can come and go from our pool area without worry. This beautiful Ivory-Grey Shabby Chic rug is from HomeGoods (similar rug) and I love that its a shag but there is NO shedding and our coffee table is from Overstock. I love acrylic and gold and I love the mix! This supersoft seat features channel stitching for a contemporary feel with a touch of glam. Plus, its metal legs give the illusion that it’s floating. They are from Pottery Barn Teen and so sorry to say this but no longer available!

A Chandelier for me is the most important statement in any room! Without it the room looks empty and unfinished to me! I wanted to buy a stunning piece but also choose the one with an affordable price! I was so happy when I found this masterpiece at Amazon.

The white mirrored console table set is from Home Depot! This is a 3 piece console table set with gorgeous quatrefoil design! I have the same one in our master bedroom in Florida! I used the 2 small pieces for a nightstand and the large one for a TV stand! In this Lounge area I kept the pieces together! I love how functional! The table lamps are so old! I used it in one of my girls room and I kept it when we redecorated the room! The arts are from Home Goods (you can find similar here!)

The “vase” on the vanity is actually a chocolate container that I reused. Its from Weigamn’s and I took the chocolates out and hide them for myself. I love the way it adds a touch of gold to that vanity!

I hope you liked this makeover! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
